Nuptial vows uniting Miss Evelyn Ihde and Milton Ashline were spoken Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Monona, by the Rev. Shlueter, who performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Ihde of Monona and her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Ashline of Littleport. Miss Myrna Ashline of Littleport, sister of the groom, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs. Emmett Trappe, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Myron Ihde, sister-in-law of the bride. Flower girls were Linda Ashline of Edgewood and Judy Shave of Monona. Best man was Myron Ihde of Monona, brother of the bride, and groomsmen were Emmett Trappe of Monona and Earl Bauman of Edgewood.
The groom is a graduate of the Littleport high school and served two years in the Navy. He is now employed at the E. C. Pust garage in Littleport.
After a short wedding trip to the south, the new couple will make their home in Littleport.
