Palas - Zurcher marrriage - 1948

Wedding vows of Miss Verda Mae Zurcher and Gerald Palas were spoken Thursday, June 3rd in the St. John's Lutheran church at Farmersburg before the Rev. R. H. Steege.

The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Zurcher of Farmersburg and Mr. Palas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Palas of Luana, Iowa.

Miss D'Elda Palas served as maid of Honor and the Misses Ivanelle Torkelson and Janet Lenth acted as bridesmaids. Nancy Doerring was flower girl and Keith Doerring was ring bearer. Lee Klinkenberg served as best man and ushers were Duaine Palas and Lorraine Lenth.

After a wedding trip the new couple will be at home in Monona.
