Syverson - Shea marriage - 1948

Miss Geraldine Shea, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Shea of near Volga, became the bride of Glen Syverson, son of Mrs. Anna Syverson, Elkader, Thur., Mar. 25, at the parsonage of the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church, the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Roy A. Syverson.

The bride is a graduate of the Volga City high school and has since been employed at various business places in Elkader and for the past several months she has been clerk at the Burlingame store. The groom attended the Emmetsburg high school and served with the Marine Corps. He is now employed at the Larson Shell station.
