Funk - Werger Marriage - 1948

The marriage of Miss Vernell Werger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Werger, McGregor, and Dwayne Funk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arno Funk, St. Olaf, was solemnized in St. Paul's Lutheran church, Garnavillo, Jan. 02. Rev. Alexander Meyer officiated. Duane Werger, brother of the bride, was best man.

Mrs. Funk is a graduate of Bayless Business college, Dubuque, and served almost two years as a member of the Women's Reserve of the Marine Corp.

Mr. Funk has been engaged in farming on his father's farm, where the new couple will reside.
