Jessen - Malone marriage - 1946

STRAWBERRY POINT: Thursday morning, June 20, Miss Bernice Malone, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Malone, and Robert D. Jessen, son of Jesse Jessen, all of Strawberry Point, were married in the Methodist church. The Rev. R. Park Anderson officiated. Attending the coUple were Miss Jacqueline Jackson as bridesmaid and Marvin Snyder as best man.

Mrs. Jessen is a graduate of the local high school and for the past four years has been employed as bookkeeper for the Goodrich Produce company, and the Fredrick Hardware company. Mr. Jessen, also a high school graduate here, served four years in the armed forces and since his discharge has been employed at the Goodrich Produce company.

The new couple left for a trip to Yellowstone National park. Upon their return they will establish their home in Strawberry Point.
