Miss Adeline Wilken, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wilken of Strawberry Point, became the bride of Lloyd H. Meier, Clermont, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Meier of Guttenberg, Thursday, at St. Mary's Catholic church in Strawberry Point with the Rev. Father Wilfred Kress officiating. Mrs. Leland Carpenter, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and Donald H. Meier, brother of the groom, was best man. Henry Henkel and Leland Carpenter served as ushers.

Mrs. Meier is a graduate of the Strawberry Point high school and is now employed by the Union Bank and Trust Co. of Strawberry Point. Mr. Meier is a graduate of St. Mary's high school of Guttenberg, has served 2 1/2 years with the armed forces and is now employed by the Farmers Savings Bank at Clermont, where the new home will be made.
