Reinke - Marfilius marriage - 1942

Irene R. Marfilius, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Marfilius of Monona, became the bride of Gordon C. Reinke, son of Mrs. Floretta Reinke of Farmersburg, Wednesday, Oct. 14, the ceremony performed by Rev. H. W. Raduege. Attending the bridal couple were Mrs. Harlan Foels of Postville and Dayton Marfilius of Farmersburg, sister and brother of the bride. Following the ceremony a dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents, where a wedding cake was presented by the bride's sister, Mrs. Oscar Carlson. Miss Helen Bield, cousin of the groom acted as table waitress.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Reinke are graduates of the Farmersburg high school. They will be at home on a farm which the groom operates, north of Farmersburg.
