STRAWBERRY POINT: Katherine, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Boland of Strawberry Point, became the bride of Kenneth, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Corcoran of Oelwein, Oct. 05th, in St. Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. P. J. Boyle officiating. Maid of honor was Miss Anita Boland, sister of the bride. and best man was Melvin Miller, a friend of the groom. The new couple will make their home near Fairbank.

The bride is a graduate of the Strawberry Point public school and for the past five years has been teaching in the rural schools of Clayton county. Mr. Corcoran is a graduate of the Immaculate Conception high school of Fairbank and operates a farm near there.
