Barnes - Hall marriage - 1942

STRAWBERRY POINT: Miss Margaret Hall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Hall of Guttenberg, and Edward Barnes, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Barnes of Strawberry Point, were united in marriage at St. Mary's Catholic church in Guttenberg, Aug. 22nd. The Rev. Father Dupont officiated.

The bride graduated this spring from a two-year normal course at Upper Iowa University. The groom received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the same university this spring.

The couple will be at home at Manson, Iowa, where the groom will teach the commercial subjects and will be assistant coach in the public school.
