Jones - Tuecke marriage - 1942

JONES, TUECKE, BOWLUS, MINTZLAFF

GARNAVILLO: Miss Eunice Tuecke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Tuecke of this place, and Dr. James Fredrick Jones of Cleveland, O., son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver E. Jones of Youngstown, Ohio, were united in marriage at St. Peter's church with the Rev. H. H. Steege officiating. Attending the couple was the bride's sister, Mrs. A. Bowlus of Strawberry Point and the groom's brother, Robert Jones of Youngstown. Mick and Kay Bowlus, nephew and niece of the bride, were ring-bearer and flower girl, respectively. Cornelius Tuecke and Morris Mintzlaff, brother and cousin of the bride, were ushers.

Mrs. Jones is a graduate of the Guttenberg high school and the University of Iowa school of nursing. For the past year and a half she has been at St. Luke's hospital in Cleveland. Dr. Jones is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Harvard Medical school. At present he is assistant to the chief of surgery at St. Luke's hospital in Cleveland.

After a motor trip through the west the new couple will be at home in Cleveland after July 01.
