Uriell - Matt marriage - 1942

Miss Viola Matt, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Matt of National, became the bride of Donald Uriell, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Uriell of Elkader, Saturday, May 16, in St. Mary's church at McGregor. The Rev. Father Horsefield officiated. Maid of honor was Zita Uriell, sister of the groom, while bridesmaids were Mrs. Harold Matt, Miss Marcella Berns and Miss Alice Ruff. The groom was attended by Harold Matt, brother of the bride, Ushers were Virgil Uriell, Louis Matt and Donald Matt.

The bride has been employed for the past four years in the Sherman home. The groom has been working in Dyersville for G. H. Brunhan, implement dealer.
