Hamann - Reardon marriage - 1945

St. John's Lutheran church, Farmersburg, Iowa, Sept. 07, was the scene of the wedding of Shirley Reardon, older daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Reardon, Farmersburg, and T/Sgt Delos Hamann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hamann of Garnavillo. Officiating the service was the Rev. K. Landgrebe of Garnavillo. Maid of honor was Marguerite Ehrhardt of Elkader, while Lt. Lorin Hamann of Garnavillo, cousin of the groom, was best man. Flower girls were Sandra and Audrey Reardon, sister and cousin of the bride.

Mrs. Hamann was graduated from Farmersburg high school and attended Upper Iowa university at Fayette. She has been employed in the office of the Elkader Production Credit association.

Sgt. Hamann was graduated from Garnavillo high school and attended Wartburg college, Waverly. He recently returned from the European Theater.
