I am trying to find the location of Craines Grove, IA referenced in 1885. Winfield Scott Uhler, son of Andrew Jackson Uhler and Margaret Angeline Loomis, was born April 11, 1862 in IL. In 1880 and 1885 Winfield Scott Uhler (W.S. Uhler) was a resident of Washington Twp., Clarke Co., IA. In 1885, W.S. Uhler married Idella Hoppel in Craines Grove, IA. W.S. Uhler and his bride later located in SD, then NE.

Does anyone have any information on Craines Grove, IA?
