Larry A. Saddoris, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. Born on May 7, 1947, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, Larry's early years on the farm shaped a life marked by hard work, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.

After dedicating over two decades of service to his country, Larry retired from the Air Force as a Major, a testament to his commitment and discipline.

His post-military career was as diverse as it was fulfilling; he was truly a jack of all trades. With a master's degree in hand, he imparted wisdom as an adjunct professor at Gulf Coast Community College in Florida, where his passion for education and mentorship left a lasting impact on his students.

Larry's life was enriched by his marriage of 50 years, a union that began in March 1974 and was celebrated every day thereafter. His love story was one for the ages, built on mutual respect, laughter, and an unwavering partnership.

A man of many interests, Larry was an accomplished woodworker and cabinet maker, with a talent for turning raw materials into works of functional art. His love for travel took him to many places, creating memories that he treasured deeply. At home, he was the undisputed king of the remote control, a title he wore with a playful pride.

His daughters and grandchildren were the light of his life, and he showered them with love and attention. Larry's passion for all things sweet, especially candy, was well-known, and he never missed an opportunity to indulge in his favorite treats. A lover of movies and a backyard farmer, he found as much joy in the flicker of the screen as he did in the fruits of his labor.

Those who knew Larry will remember him as a funny and passionate man, whose laughter was infectious and whose heart was generous. He approached life with a sense of humor that endeared him to all and a fervor that inspired those around him.
Larry is preceded in death by his daughter Kristina Conley.
Larry is survived by his sisters, Irene and Janet; wife, Linda; three daughters, Samantha Patron, Barbara Mozley, and Stephanie Saddoris; and 4 grandchildren.

Larry's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the courage to follow one's passions. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
