The Osceola TribuneHerbert Twyford Brim, son of Jess Lynn and Florence Twyford Brim was born May 4, 1906, in Clarke County, Iowa, and departed this life in the Clarke County Hospital December 12, 1971 at the age of 65 years seven months and eight days.
He lived here most of his life except for a few years in Des Moines and Indianola, Iowa.
He was a member of the Liberty Methodist Church having joined at an early age.
He is survived by two sisters, Alma Brim of Costa Mesa, California, Mrs. Katheryn Ewoldsen and husband, Herbert of Des Moines, Iowa; two brothers Faye Brim and wife, Vica of Garden Grove, Iowa and Dwight Brim and wife, Doris of Osceola, Iowa and his sister-in-law, Maxine Brim Wilson of New Virginia, Iowa with whom he made his home for many years. Also several nieces and nephews and many friends. For the past few years he resided at the Osceola Leisure Manor.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harold and Max, missing in action in World War II.
Memorial Services were held on December 14, 1971 at 1:30 p.m. in the Webster-Kale Funeral Home with the Reverend Ivan C. Bys of the United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola.
