Graveside services for Dorothy E. Argo, 77, Long Beach, Calif. and formerly of Tipton, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4 at the Tipton Masonic cemetery, with the Rev. Jerrold Swinton officiating. Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sheets and Son Funeral Home in Tipton.

Dorothy Argo died Aug. 29 in the Palm Crest Medalion Convalescent hospital in Long Beach.

She retired in 1958 as owner and operator of the Argo Ice Cream Shop. She previously taught school in Iowa.

Dorothy Argo is survived by a sister, Mrs. Helen Woods, Long Beach.

A memorial fund has been established.
