Funeral services for Oscar C. Bismark, 75, Cedar Valley, were held at the Sheets and Son Funeral home May 4 with the Rev. Matthew Martens officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers were Delbert Hayes, Bob Zimmerman, Bud Donohue, Charles Zousel, Glen Beiermann and Clarence Crew.

Mr. Bismark died at his home in Cedar Valley May 2.

The son of Andrew and Amanda Ballander Bismark, he was born at Stanchfield, Minn. Feb. 13, 1904 and was educated in the Stanchfield schools. He was first married to Edith Follman. He was married to Eva Frank at Muscatine July 3, 1961.

A mechanic, he had been a resident of the Cedar Valley area for 25 years. He was a veteran of World War I.

He is survived by his wife, Eva, Cedar Valley, a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Marilynn) Rodgers, and a son, Leslie, both of West Branch; a step-daughter, Mrs. Evalyn Rieke, Muscatine; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; a step great-granddaughter and 2 brothers, Bill and Clarence, both of Stanchfield, Minn.

He was preceded in death by a son, 3 brothers and a sister.
