Funeral services for Harold Franklin Bair, 57, were held at the Morgan Funeral home, Lisbon March 31 with the Rev. Robert Wilcox officiating. Burial was in the Lisbon cemetery. Pallbearers were Monte and Robert Ohrt, Don Woode, Larry Bell, Les Svatosch and William Lange.

Mr. Bair died at University hospitals, Iowa City March 29 following a long illness.

The son of Frank and Julia Marker Bair, he was born in Cedar county April 25, 1921 and attended the rural schools of Cedar county. He was married to June Ohrt in Silvis, Ill. Oct. 18, 1945. A heavy equipment operator, he had been a resident of Lisbon for 20 years. He served in the US Navy in World War II.

Mr. Bair is survived by his wife, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bair, Tipton; 4 sons, LeRoy, North Liberty; Earl and Larry, Cedar Rapids and Ronnie, serving in the US Army; a daughter, Mrs. Randy (Darlene) Waltz, Mechanicsville; 8 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Stanley Svatosh, Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Richard Ohrt, Tipton and 3 brothers, Carl and Darrell, Tipton and Arnold, living in Missouri.
