Mrs. Elizabeth Grant, aged 74 years, died this morning at the home of her son, S. E. Grant, in this city. Her death was due to gradual breaking down of her system, due to old age, she having been confined to her bed for the past four months. Short services will be held at Mr. Grant's residence this evening at 5:30, under charge of Elder Ramsey, and the remains will then be taken to the old home of the deceased in Evansville, Ind., where her husband and five children are buried.
