Note on historical newspaper hits that appear at ancestry. When you get hits for a name that you type in, it doesn't necessarily mean that there is information on the person's name that you typed in. If the two words are found anywhere on the same page it will show as a hit. Example.. I have Pringle for a surname and every grocery ad feature Pringle's potato chips registers as a hit at ancestry's historical newspaper section. Somewhere on the same page is listed a William or Henry or George, etc. as a first name and because that first name appears on the same page as the Pringle's potato chip ad, it registers as a hit.
