Larsen, Kjarsgaard in Newell

LARSEN, LARSON, CHRISTENSEN, KJARSGAARD, WINTHER, NITZKE, AHNTHOLZ, JORGENSEN

Researching these names in the Newell area. My g-grandfather, Peter H. Larsen, came to BV Co. in 1883. His cousins Nels Kjarsgaard and Poul Winther were already here. All were Danish immigrants. The children of Peter H. and Martha Christoffersen Larsen were: Mary (married Jim Christensen), Lars (married Millie Lemp), John C. (my grandfather, married Jennie Banks), Katherine "Kate"(married N. Christensen),Martin (married Margaret Banks, sister of Jennie, above),
Susie (died at age 19), Emma (married Henry Nielsen)and Charles (married unknown) John C. Larsen's daughters married Ahntholz, Nitzke and Jorgensen men.
