I am seeking info on the NATTRESS family who resided in Storm Lake, Iowa between 1895-1928.

My great grandfather was Joseph NATTRESS b. 17 May 1851 in Shullsburg, Wisc., d. 07 Feb 1928, Alta, Iowa. He was the son of Jacob NATTRESS b. 1802 Allendale, Northumerland, England, d. 13 Sep 1871 Apple River, Ill., married Margaret NICHOLSON b. 02 Oct 1814, Allendale, Northumberland, England, d. 27 Dec 1892 Apple River, Ill.(the family name was NATTRASS in England)

Joseph NATTRESS married Anna Rebbeca SMITH b. 13 Nov 1863, d. 18 Nov 1894. They had four children; Robert E. b. 07 Dec 1887, d. 26 Feb 1969, Clarabele NATTRESS COX b. 10 Oct 1889, d. 27 Feb 1970, Charles W. b. 26 Feb 1894, d. 15 Jul 1978.

After the death of Anna of typhoid fever, he married a second time to Cora R. BETHARDS, b.? d. Oct 1925. The four children were raised together in Storm Lake. I located them in the 1900 census living as borders with the family of McCLINTOCK, Alfred, Mrs. and children, Nellie and Ethel R.. Joseph was listed as a Hardware Merchant on the census.

They also had relatives living in the area. Joseph NATRESS' sister Ann NATTRESS b. 11 Jun 1846, d. ? married Charles MATSON b. ? d.?. Charles MATSON had two sisters, Mable MATSON SCHROLL and Mrs. Henry STEIG both of Storm Lake. Jospeh's brother William G. b. 14 Dec 1853 d. 1924-1925? His wifes name as listed in the 1910 census is Cora B. b. Aug 1867 in Iowa. He was a farmer.

I also have a newspaper clipping submitted by Mrs. Bruno THIEDE, 403 Michigan Ave, Storm Lake regarding a post card in the collection of Edna ROBBINS. In the picture are identified; Joseph NATTRESS, Cora NATTRESS, Isa ROCKWELL, Mr. and Mrs. BETHARDS mother of Isa and Cora.

I also have a group photo taken 1898. Listed on the back are Gladys BRADFORD, Bee MACK, Hazel DEAL, Aura BRADFORD, Opal TOY.

I would be very grateful for any information on any of the surnames or events surrounding the NATTRESS family friends listed in this querey.
