Ake Johnson Family in Marathon

Any info on Ake Johnson family that moved to Marathon from Illinois in 1877. Wife was Hanna (Mansson) and both were born in Sweden. Several children were born in/around Marathon including Joel E Johnson one time Mayor of Marathon and employed at bank there in 1900. I have searched many records and none of the family can be found in Buena Vista county near the turn of 1900. My grandmother was Naomi Hanna Johnson born in 1886 also in Buena Vista county. According to family written history they farmed 3 mi south of Marathon
