Autum D. Parizek, 29, of Independence, IA died on Sunday October 24, 2021, at the Buchanan County Health Center in Independence, IA.

Autum was born on September 5, 1992, in Cedar Rapids, IA the daughter of Darrin and Janel (Huggins) McCann. She attended the East Buchanan Elementary School and was a 2011 graduate of Wapsi Valley High School in Fairbank, IA. She went on to receive a degree from the College of Hair Design in Waterloo, IA. For a short time, she ran a hair salon in Rowley, IA called “Back Alley Hair Design”. She married Danny Scott, Jr. on July 7, 2012, in Fairbank, IA. The couple later divorced. On September 14, 2019, she married Levi Parizek in Rowley, IA, together they made their home north of Independence, IA. Autum worked for a short time for the East Penn Company in Oelwein, IA and later for Central Iowa Fencing in Coggon, IA.

Some of her best memories were made around a bonfire laughing with friends and family. She loved spending time with her children; they meant the world to her.

Autum is survived by her husband Levi Parizek, Independence, IA, her children Kash and Karter Scott and Bowie Parizek, her father, Darrin (Angela) McCann, Oelwein, IA, her mother, Janel McCann, Oelwein, IA, her brothers; Justin (Samantha) Eschweiler, and Tristin McCann both of Oelwein, IA, two step siblings; Brian (Emily) Bass, and Emma Nelson both of Oelwein, IA, her grandmother, Dee McCann, Fairbank, IA, step grandmother Joyce Conerd, Independence, IA, and many aunts and uncles.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents preceded Joe McCann, Shirley Huggins, and JC "Whitey" Huggins; two uncles Tom Huggins, Brian Walters step grandfather James Conerd, and a step aunt Michelle Green.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday October 30, 2021, at the Reiff Family Center – Funeral Home & Crematory in Independence, IA. Visitation will be held from 4 PM until 8 PM on Friday October 29th at the Reiff Family Center.
