Karen M. Weece, 63, of Lamont was called home on Friday, October 22, 2021. Born on May 21, 1958 in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; she was the daughter of George and Margaret (Kolivoski) Halbleib.

Karen married Gerald Weece on October 30, 1993. Along with her devoted husband, she is survived by three children: Paul (Tonia) Harting of Carson City, NV, Jerry (Amber) Harting of Lamont, and Amanda (Mikel) Ross of Brockway, PA; eight grandchildren: Dustin, Sabian, Anthony, Braxtyn, Rebecca, Paisley, Everett, and Torin; her mother, Margaret; and elder brother, Byron. She was preceded in death by her father, George, and beloved daughter, Kalena.

Karen was a free spirit who lived a life full of adventure. She loved her country and called many different states home in her 63 years. As a Reiki practitioner and ordained minister, Karen’s faith was ever-present in her life. You could always count on her to have a paintbrush or sketchpad in her hand and at least three books being read on any given day.

In lieu of flowers, Karen’s family asks that you honor her memory with a random act of kindness. She would appreciate nothing more than to leave this world with a little extra love.
