I found a couple of newspaper entries for Raphael & Lillian Weigel:

Nashua Reporter, 23 Jan 1935:
Mercy Hospital, Waverly IA for the Care of Mrs. Raphael Weigel, $16.00
Dr. Herbert W. Rothe, med. aid Mrs. Raphael Weigel, $15.00

Nashua Reporter, 11 Dec 1940:
Draft Board Sends out 50 More Questionnaires: A total of 200 in Chickasaw County Have Now received Information sheets:
Raphael Andrew Weigel, New Hampton
Ord. No: 189
Serial No: 694

Nashua Reporter, 12 Aug 1942:
Donald Wm. Weigel, draft number N-53, from NH (New Hampton) Could he be related to Raphael?

Waterloo Daily Courier, 19 Aug 1949:
Sentence 5 Drunk Drivers; Five defendants were sentenced by District Judge William T. Evans Friday morning on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated: Raphael A. Weigel, 34, of 812 Mendota Street, fined $300 and costs.

Waterloo Daily Courier, 16 October 1950:
WEIGEL, Lillian Vs. Raphael: Married Kahoka, MO, Sept. 21, 1945; separated Sep. 29, 1950; plaintiff asks that defendant be required to pay one-half of grocery bill for week ending Sept. 30, 1950 and that defendant be ordered to pay certain other obligation; she asks household furniture; injunction asked restraining defendant from coming on premises at 812 Mendota; cruelty alleged.
