CEDAR FALLS - Esther T. Spreitzer, 90, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, at the Cedar Falls Healthcare Center.

She was born Nov. 14, 1917, in Virginia, Minn., daughter of Charles and Senja S. Maki. She married Rudolph "Rudy" Spreitzer on Aug. 22, 1942, in Virginia, Minn. He died Dec. 16, 1991.

Mrs. Spreitzer was employed as a cashier at Eagles Grocery Store in Cedar Falls prior to her retirement.

Survivors include a son, Steve of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Spreitzer of Cedar Rapids; two stepgrandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Home. There will be no services and the body will not be present.

Memorials: may be directed to Iowa Hospice.
