Maudie Leona Morelock, 95, of 2228 Hawthorne Ave., died Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born Dec. 9, 1905, in Danforth, Mo., daughter of William E. and Bessie Osborn Pierce. She married Albert B. Morelock on Nov. 5, 1925, in Kirksville, Mo. He died Dec. 24, 1980.

Survived by a daughter, Maxine Clausman of Waterloo; six grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth Brant and Daisy White, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Taylor; two sisters, Oma Mae Arends and Viola Smith; and a brother, Luther Pierce.

Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

A memorial fund will be established.
