Services for Roland M. Witt, 67 of 200½ Rhey St., will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery. There will be a wake service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Carter O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home, 250 National Drive, where friends may call until 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. Mr. Witt died of a heart attack Sunday night at the Union Bus Depot.
He was born May 6, 1914, at Waterloo, son of Howard and Grace McGonegal Witt. He married Leona Dietsch Sept. 1, 1934, at Waterloo. He was an electrician with the Waterloo Community schools until his death.
Survivors include his wife; two sons. Jim of Apple Valley, Minn., and Dick of 3619 Carlton Drive, Cedar Falls; three daughters: Mrs. Marge Bovey of Anchorage, Alaska, Connie Witt of Northumberland, Pa., and Mrs. Dan Connors of Littleton, Colo.; 11 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren; a brother, Gayle of Marshalltown; and two sisters, Mrs P. H. Williamson of 414 Bertch Ave. and Mrs. Amelia Marshall of Fort Dodge.
Memorials may be made to St John's Catholic Church memorial fund.
