Roydon T. Edwards, 77, formerly of Audubon, the son of Roy and Gretta Yager Edwards was born March 19, 1928, on a ranch near Moore, Fergus Co., MT and died June 30, 2005, at his daughter's home in Atascadera, CA.

In 1936, the family moved to a farm in Viola Township Audubon, County. He graduated from Viola Consolidated High School in 1945. He worked in Coon Rapids before enrolling in college at Iowa State University in 1948. He received a B.S. degree in the spring of 1952.

Roydon met Teresa deJesus Rufus Cajar of Panama City, Panama, at ISU. They were married June 29, 1952. They raised a family of two girls and five boys.

He completed the NORTC Navy program and received his commission. He served aboard ship in the Pacific on active duty 1952-54. He continued in the Navy reserves until 1965. After his service he was employed by The University of California at Davis, doing ag. research. After leaving there he was employed as an ag. consultant for a large Corporation. This job took him to the following countries: Nicaragua, Columbia, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. After retiring they lived in Heyburn, ID.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gale.

Roydon is survived by his wife, Teresa, and seven children: Teresa Spencer, Gina Provensen, Mark Edwards, John Edwards, Michael Edwards, Joseph Edwards and Charles Edwards and their families; brothers and their wives: Bill and Barbara Edwards, Dale and Ruth Edwards; Ronald and Sue Edwards; one sister, Wanita Farnham and their families.

Roydon was cremated with a private family service.
