Funeral services for Donna Fae Dorothy Bogatzke, 76, of Memphis, MO, were conducted June 8, 2005 at Memphis Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Appold officiating. Graveside services were conducted at the Manning Cemetery on June 9, 2005 with Pastor Daniel Vogel officiating.

Donna Fae Dorothy Bogatzke, daughter of Emil and Alverta Barten Mohr, was born June 18, 1928, at Manning and died June 4, 2005 at Scotland County Hospital in Memphis.

She graduated from Manning High School with the Class of 1946. She was united in marriage to Marvin Bogatzke, June 12, 1949 in Zion Lutheran Church in Manning. Two daughter and a son were born to this union.

Donna Fae was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Memphis. She was active with the Ladies Aide while living in Manning. She was also a member of the Mr. and Mrs. Group. Donna Fae and Marvin moved to Memphis in 1977. She worked 16 years at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Donna Fae is survived by her husband, Marvin, of 55 years, of Memphis; daughters: Gwena Fae Young and husband, Larry, of Omaha, NE; Pamela Joy Mickelson and husband, David, of Waukee; and a son, Todd Marvin Bogatzke and wife, Gretchen, of Memphis; four grandsons: Kurtis R. Bogatzke and wife, Gretchen, of Memphis; Logan Bogatzke of Ottumwa; Matthew Mickelson; and Andrew Mickelson, both of Waukee; one granddaughter, Amanda Bogatzke of Memphis; five step-grandsons: Nathan Cahill and wife, Amanda, Christian Joshua Cahill; Jeffery Todd Young and wife; Matthew Scott Young and family; and Randy Lee Young and family; one great-granddaughter, Karley Bogatzke; and one step-great-grandson, Christian Cahill; many cousins and other relatives.
