Funeral services for Debra J. Lemke, 49, of Linden, were conducted May 21, 2005 at First United Methodist Church in Audubon, with Pastor Cathy Van Gundy officiating. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon. Casket bearers were Matthew Chambers, Kevin Christensen, Ray Lemke, Steve Schrader, Richard Lemke and Chris Paine.

Debra J. Lemke, daughter of Lloyd and Geneva Oakley, was born Nov. 26, 1955 in Audubon and died May 18, 2005 at her home.

She graduated from Audubon High School in 1974. She married Ronald Chambers. They farmed in the Audubon area. She attended Iowa Western College in Council Bluffs for one year. She worked at various businesses in the area. On Jan. 2, 1999, she married Douglas Lemke. She then received her computer programming degree from DMACC. She was employed by Wells Fargo as a loan processor at the time of her death.

Debra was preceded in death by her grandparents; and father-in-law, Donald Lemke.

She is survived by her husband Douglas of Linden; children: Melissa Chambers; Matthew and Val Chambers; Bridget and Steve Schrader, all of Audubon; Stacy and Chris Paine of Sioux City; Richard and Salynn Lemke of Johnston; Vicki and Shawn Housley of Ottumwa; and Ray Lemke of Boone; grandchildren: Colby and Riley Christensen; Jocelyn Chambers; Kelsie and Jordan Schrader; Brianna Coffin; Tanner and Christopher Paine, Allison and Emma Lemke; and Jessica Housley; her parents: Lloyd and Geneva Oakley of Audubon; her mother-in-law, Norma Lemke of Guthrie Center; sisters: Teresa and Roger Boge of Klemme; Donna Murray and fiancé Rob of Exira.
