Mrs. Rattenborg
Dies At Elk Horn

Mrs. Anna Kathrine Ratten-
borg, 85, died Sunday night at the
Salem Lutheran hospital home in
Elk Horn. Formerly of Atlantic,
she had been residing there for
the past year. She was a sister
of Mrs. Anna Miller of Exira.

Anna Kathrine Mirk Yngve
was born May 6, 1876, at Sonder
Bjerts pr Kolding, Denmark, and
came to the United States with
her parents when she was 14
years old, locating in Brayton.
She was married to Hans Ratten-
borg October 13, 1892, and they
resided on a farm south of Elk
Horn until 1900, when they moved
to Atlantic.

Surviving are three sisters,
Dorothea Johansen, in Denmark;
Elim Hansen, Harlan, and Mrs.
Anna Miller of Exira; four chil-
dren, Mrs. Folmer Hansen, Fargo,
North Dakota, Mrs. Harold Miller,
Council Bluffs, Leo Rattenborg of
Margo and Walter of Atlantic.

Funeral services were held
Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at
the Elk Horn Lutheran church
and interment was in the Elk
Horn cemetery.
