Audubon Man Invents
Straw-Stacking Device

A wonderful invention has just
been perfected by W. C. Sheets, of
Audubon, in the way of a straw-
stacking device which will prove
a Godsend to all farmers who raise
small grain.

Instead of piling the straw up,
--a custom which has been a-
dopted by many farmers in recent
years, owing to the difficulty they
encountered in trying to stack
from the blower,--this new device
makes it possible to stack the
straw very neatly without waste,
the farmer deriving much benefit
thereby. A thousand farmers
have seen and inspected the small
model and declare it a marvel.

Note: Parents of Wilber C. Sheets (1847-1940) were David and Elizabeth Sheets. He was married to Eliza Parnham and Mary Conner.
