Ill With Small Pox

The H. W. Rogers home, west
of town (Exira), was placed under quaran-
tine Tuesday for small pox, Mrs.
Rogers being afflicted with the
disease. These good people are
having their share of sickness, Mr.
Rogers having suffered a slight
stroke of paralysis a few days
since. He has been seriously ill
but his condition is now improved.
Later--Mr. Rogers is reported to
be quite ill with the dreaded dis-
ease but Mrs. Rogers is getting
along nicely.

Note: Horatio William "Race" Rogers (1848-1930) was married to Lenora "Nora" Shirey (1867-1961).
