Charles Leffingwell was severely
burned in the face by a tire on his
automobile which kept revolving
after he had been thrown under it.
The car, which he was driving,
turned completely over following a
blow out when nearing the bridge
in the west part of town (Exira).Note: Parents of Charles Leffingwell were Frank James Leffingwell and Harriet May "Hattie" Kelly.
