CARS COLLIDE MONDAY

--------

A collision of two autos at the Jesse
Anderson corner Monday evening was
a lucky accident for all concerned, if
it can be termed as such. Lester Bow-
en, his father and sister, were going
south up the hill past the Mike Simer-
sen place and Wayne Davis with his
wife and baby were coming east along
the street north of Jess Andersen's,
the two cars meeting at the intersec-
tion with considerable force. The Ford
touring driven by Bowen was thrown
over on its side but none of the occu-
pants were injured. The Davis car, a
Chevrolet coupe, remained right side
up. Both cars were damaged some.
