Two Accidents
Are Reported

Two minor auto accidents have
been reported to the sheriff's of-
fice during the last week.

Sunday a 1949 Chevrolet driv-
en by Oliver C. Pohl, 31, Hamlin,
and a 1949 International truck
operated by Denver C. White, 40,
Denver, Colo., sideswiped a mile
east of Hamlin on a curve. Dam-
age to the car was $75.

About $75 damage was done to
a 1940 Chevrolet operated by
Jack Hutchinson, 53, Exira, when
it ran into the back of a 1949
Ford owned by Bernard L. Wolf,
30, Brayton. Wolf claimed he
was parked at the time of the
accident, which occured on main
street at Exira, but Hutchinson
said Wolf was backing.

Note: Bernard Elmer Wolf was the son of Elmer Chris Wolf and Erma Olive Akers.
I believe that the person identified as Jack Hutchinson, may be Forrest Wiley "Jack" Hutchins (1897-1993).
