Corn Meal Ready For
Distribution In Exira

--------

Corn meal is now ready for dis-
tribution to needy families in this
territory and can be secured by ap-
plying to Chas. Kommes. The corn
was ground into meal Tuesday by
Stanley Hansen, of near Audubon,
the grinding being donated. Geo.
Oakley and Henry Winkel of Audu-
bon came to Exira and hauled the
corn to the grinder and returned it
to Exira without charge. They were
accompanied by County Agent Mc-
Ginnis, who has been superintend-
ing the collection and preparing of
the meal for human consumption.

Those who donated corn here were
George Wahlert, George Schlater,
Aage Wade, A. F. Anderson, Will
Davis, L. F. Klever, Ted Simpson
and Mrs. Will Ludwig. The corn
was stored by Ben Jensen at the
Green Bay lumber yard prior to the
time it was ground.
