Miss Margaret Kirkham
Weds Pennsylvania Man

Miss Margaret Kirkham, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. William Kirk-
ham, was united in marriage to
Dr. William H. Holst of Tamaqua,
Pa. at(unreadable)ding at the
bride's home southeast of Exira,
at 2 o'clock Tuesday. Rev. Mr.
Douglass of Randolph, a former
Methodist minister of Anita, read
the ceremony. Attendants were
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Snyder of
Iowa City, friends of the bride and
groom. Mrs. H. E. Elliott of Des
Moines, an aunt of the bride, play-
ed for the cerremony. Susan Finn
of Washington, D. C., a niece of
of the bride, served as flower girl.
Mrs. Holst wore a dubonnet suit
and hat and carried sunburnt
roses.

The bride is a graduate nurse
from University hospital at Iowa
City with the class of 1930 and
since has been nursing at that
place. Dr. Holst is practicing at
Tamaqua, where the couple will be
at home after a week's honeymoon.

The Kirkham home was beau-
tifully decorated in autumn leaves
and roses. A buffet lunch was
served by the bride's parents, fol-
lowing the wedding.

Note: Parents of Margaret R. Kirkham were William Francis "Will" Kirkham and Susan R. "Susie" Wagner.
