Exira Young People
Wed In Council Bluffs

The marriage of Roy Jacobsen,
son of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Ja-
cobsen, to Miss Rose Christensen,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George
K. Christensen, was an event of
January 4. The ceremony was per-
formed in Council Bluffs by the
Rev. F. C. M. Hansen, pastor of
the Lutheran church there and a
former pastor of the Audubon
Danish Lutheran church. Miss Ann
Nissen and Arnold Wolf, both of
Exira, were the attendants.

Mr. and Mrs. Jacobsen are
graduates of the Exira high school.
They are spelendid young people
and have hundreds of friends
throughout this territory.

They will make their home on
the Jacobsen farm just east of
Exira until about March first,
when they will move to a farm
near Casey which is owned by the
bridegroom's father.

A reception for the newlyweds
was given Wednesday evening at
the home of the bride's parents.

Note: Rose Kristine Christensen's parents were George K. Christensen and Anna P. Beck.
Roy Edwin Jacobsen's parents were John Henry Jacobsen and Bertha May Channon.
