Searching for info on John & Elizabeth Tolly Weir and father Isham Tolly (age 100) who were on the 1856 state Iowa census in Appanoose Co. Previously were in Sangamon Co., Illinois on 1840 census. John was born 29 Dec. 1793 in Frederick Co., Maryland -- Parents: James Weir & Lydia Richards. Have Rev. War papers of James stating marriage 10 March 1793 in Frederick County, MD and James date of death. Husband Floyd E. Weir descendant of John through son Isaac Weir.
