The following information came from the Chariton Township-Appanoose County, Iowa Cemetery Book published in the 1980s by the App. Gen. Society:

Salem Cemetery (Located in Section 2 of Chariton Township on the south side of Highway 142 east of Iconiumm)

Row 5

BROSHAR: Mary-wife of Z. Broshar died-Jan.6,1862 age-51y,10m,20d

BROSHAR: Mary-wife of Z. Broshar died-1-6-1862 (old stone)

FUNKHOUSER: Children of G.H. & Nancy E.

Martha, Anna, Etta, Edward

I found no listing for a George Funkhouser
