I can't add much to what you have except to confirm that she was almost certainly in the county poor farm in 1885 since it was in Belair township. Here's a brief write-up on it:

and on this 1952 plat map it's called the Appanoose County Farm and is located in section 32 of Belair township:

You might be able to find a death record by using your local Family History Center to order and get delivered a microfilm of the death records. Since you don't know the exact date, you might have to order more than one film. Here are the relevant films:

I searched the archive of the Iowegian and no obituary was published.
