YORK: J.W. Dec.9, 1843-Jan. 19, 1916

Probate information:

YORK, John W. Estate Admin.-Joel S. Gregory

01/25/1916 Bk-10 Pg-140 #3700.0 Roll-66

Frame-1836 Box-112

The above information came from the Washington Township Cemetery Book and Probate Index 1852-1988 published by the Appanoose County Genealogical Society in the 1980s.

As for a George Walker Cemetery in the county, I have never heard of one and in books published about the county cemeteries there is no mention of one. There is a George S. Walker listed as buried in the Oakland Cemetery in Vermillion Township.
