Jeweler in Mystic

I recently discovered that my paternal Great-Grandfather Charles Thornton was a dealer in Watches, Clocks, Jewelry, etc., in Mystic in the late 1800's. He also did watch repairs. Am wondering if anyone knows how I may find out more about his business in Mystic at that time.
