Ella Phillips 1869-1890

BRIDAL, LONG, THARP, HAYS, PHILLIPS, BAXTER

I am curious about any connection between my ancestors from Appanoose Co.,Iowa and this Ella Phillips. A copy of a newspaper clipping containing the obituary was among my grandmother, Verna Katherine Bridal's pictures. Verna was the daughter of Arthur Bridal and RosaBelle Long. Verna and Arthur were born in Moulton and the family later moved to Logan Co. Oklahoma after a short time in Bucklin, Linn Co, Mo. Arthur's father was John George Bridal whose last wife was Jane Tharp. John G. and Jane are buried in the cemetery just west of Moulton.
I also had a grandfather, William Long who married Rebecca Baxter, the widow of William Hays. Rebecca and William Long are in the same cemetery with John G. and Jane Tharp Bridal.
