My grandmother was Mary Edna Buck, born in Appanoose County in 1889. Her father was Thomas Jefferson Buck; grandfather was William J. Buck, b.1835 in Ohio and a Civil War vet. His father was Charles J. Buck, b. 1797 in Virginia. William had brothers Francis and James.

I believe there is a connection with Jesse's family, but not sure how. What do you have?
