Mrs. Martin Adam Passed Away Friday
Mrs. Martin Adam, living over in Ludlow township, passed away last Friday following a few days illness although she had been more or less confined to her home for three years.

Meta Louise Hansmeier was born in Ludlow township May 14 1898, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hansmeier. She was married to Martin Adam on November 16, 1918, and one son, Reuben was born to them.

She was aged 36 years, 6 months, and 9 days and is survived by her husband and 13 year old son, her mother, two brothers, John and Reuben; three sisters, Dorothea (sic Dorothy) at home, Mrs. Arthur Stock and Mrs. Walter Fiet, besides many other relatives and friends who mourn her untimely passing and sympathize with those bereaved.

Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon and at the Bethlehem church in south Ludlow, conducted by Rev. John Klosterboer, assisted by the Rev. DeBueher. Carrying out her wishes, six cousins acted as pallbearers and the ladies who years ago were in her confirmation class acted as flower girls. Interment was made in the cemetery nearby.
