SUDDEN DEATH - We learn this morning that the wife of Mr. Henry Gardner, of DeSoto, died very suddenly, yesterday afternoon. We have no particulars.

She was an excellent woman, and was highly esteemed by all who knew her. Her death will be universally mourned in the community in which she has so long resided.

Mr. Gardner is one of the proprietors of the Lansing and DeSoto ferry boat 'J.C. Thompson'. He has the sincere condolence of his many friends in this city.
